After my first visit, I realised that Victoria House - and particularly the owners - was the right place for me. Every aspect about the B&B, and what it has to offer, are exactly as claimed and precisely what you would expect of a family-run B&B in Brid. The location is in the centre and so good for central services and yet not noisy; there is adequate parking both on street and off street; there is a variety of rooms ( single, double, family, downstairs, upstairs ), for different needs of different guests; bed rooms and other rooms are always spotlessly clean; breakfast is the main treat of my stays; there is a set menu of traditional English of course but the owner welcomes suggestions to provide any alternaive on request so don't hesiate to ask. There is always a friendly welcome by the owners, and more importantly, this friendliness is not just the protocol of a first meeting but it prevades throughout the whole stay and is genuine. Come in winter and enjoy a cosy open real coal fire. Value for money, Victoria House cannot be beaten in my opinion.

The Hotel stay was wonderful, Very courtious staff, and the owners were always happy to help. The room was very clean and tidy, Myevening meal was very nice felt like home cooking non of the ready made stuff i have had at other hotels, The hotel bar was also nice and relaxing, there was a reallyfriendly atmosphere and i really enjoyed my stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Victoria hotel, we had a long weekend, the service and food were exceptional, the rooms were clean and serviced daily, and the family that owned it were very friendly. the location of the hotel was really good, just outside the centre so away from the noise but close enough to walk.

We usually stay in Whitby but decided to try Bridlington for a change as we day trip but don't stay. My wife and our grandchild were most welcome, room was so nice, bath and a shower in our room too. Breakfast was very nice and plenty to choose from.
Bar was relaxing and the TV lounge for the children was even nicer.
We have booked again and would recommend to anyone as a family or couple.

The tourist information board gave us the number of the Vicoria hotel after we had been let down by another hotel. We needed to stayovernight as we were going to a wedding. Although it was short notice the owners were friendly and very obliging. The room was lovely & spacious. The breakfast was delicious. We were made to feel very welcome & we will certainly stay again.
